As we have done in the past, we will utilize virtual snow days called "Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs) to cover snow days. Our virtual snow day is a blend of live virtual instruction and pre-recorded material at the elementary and pre-recorded lectures/instruction at the secondary level.

1. How Decisions Are Made
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We carefully monitor weather forecasts, road conditions, and guidance from local authorities to make the best possible decisions.
2. When You’ll Hear from Us
We aim to notify families as early as possible:
Morning Closures or Delays: By 5:30 AM.
Early Dismissals: Notifications will be sent as soon as the decision is made.
3. How We’ll Communicate
You’ll receive updates through the following channels:
Phone Calls & Text Messages: Ensure your contact information is up to date in our system.
Email Alerts: Check your inbox for details.
Website & Social Media: Updates will be posted on http://www.tulpehocken.org and District Facebook Account.
Local Media Outlets: Announcements will also be shared with WGAL8 and WFMZ.
4. What You Should Do
Check Your Contact Info: Please log in to the Sapphire Portal to verify your phone number and email address.
Plan Ahead: Make arrangements for childcare in case of unexpected closures or early dismissals.
Stay Informed: Keep an eye on weather reports and our updates.
